Preparations for Mawlid Al Nabi event in Batman near completion

Enthusiastic preparations for the highly anticipated Mawlid Al Nabi event, organized by the Prophet Lovers Foundation, continue at full speed in Batman.
Scheduled to take place on Sunday, the gathering is expected to bring together tens of thousands of attendees in a deeply spiritual and meaningful atmosphere.
The event, themed “Resistance Leader Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)”, will be held at the Mevlit Area next to Batman Bus Terminal at 13:30 local time. Volunteers and members of the foundation have been working diligently since the early hours of the day, striving to ensure a well-organized and welcoming experience for participants.
City Prepares for a High Turnout
With preparations in their final stages, Feyzi Aydın, the Foundation’s Coordinator in Batman, extended an invitation to all Batman residents, calling on them to join the event.
“We have been preparing for weeks, and most arrangements are now complete,” Aydın stated. “Seven announcement vehicles have been dispatched across Batman’s neighborhoods, districts, and villages, inviting people to the Mawlid Al Nabi event. Our teams are actively working in the field.”
A Theme of Resistance and Resilience
Speaking on the importance of this year’s theme, Aydın highlighted its relevance in today’s world.
“Our theme this year is ‘Resistance Leader Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).’ We will focus on how the Messenger of Allah stood firm against adversity, motivated his Companions, and led with unwavering strength. Our speakers will shed light on these aspects for our attendees,” he explained.
Aydın also underlined the connection between the theme and the situation in Gaza, stating that the event aims to draw inspiration from the perseverance displayed by its people.
“Taking lessons from our brothers and sisters in Gaza, we will reflect on the Prophet’s resistance and his guiding example,” he said. “We will strive to transport the attendees into the spirit of both the Prophet’s era and the resilience in Gaza.”
Final Touches and Invitation to the Public
As the final touches are being put in place, the organizers are ensuring that all logistics are ready. Aydın confirmed that 24 designated pickup points have been arranged for free transportation to the event venue.
“Our Mawlid Area is fully prepared and ready to welcome all who love the Prophet,” he added. “We extend our heartfelt invitation to everyone to join us tomorrow.”
The event is set to create an unforgettable spiritual atmosphere in Batman, fostering unity and reflection among the attendees. (ILKHA)
