Turkey-Russia complete twelfth joint patrols in Syria, Turkish Defense Ministry says

Turkey and Russia on Saturday completed their twelfth joint patrols in northern Syria east of the Euphrates river, Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"The twelfth joint land patrol between Turkish and Russian units and UAV support has been completed in the eastern Euphrates as according to plan. A total of eight vehicles comprising of four from each side participated in the twelfth join land patrol along with UAVs in the Qamishli-Derek sector. Turkish and Russian units patrolled an area of 69 km length and 7 km depth," the Ministry said.
According to the agreement dealt between Ankara and Moscow on Oct. 22, the patrols should conduct within a depth of up to 10 km inside Syrian territory east and west of the area under Turkey's exclusive control, or 120 km of border between Tal Abyad and Ras al Ayn.
