Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the arrest of 28 suspects in a series of operations targeting ISIS across four provinces.
The operations, dubbed Bozdoğan-47, were carried out in Adana, Bursa, Istanbul, and Manisa.
In a statement on X, Minister Yerlikaya detailed that the operations were organized by the Provincial Security Directorates in coordination with the General Directorate of Security Intelligence and the Anti-Terrorism Department.
During the operations, authorities seized a large amount of foreign currency, Turkish Lira, and numerous digital materials. Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of these operations in combating terrorism and ensuring national security.
The Bozdoğan-47 operations reflect Türkiye's ongoing commitment to dismantling illegal networks and preventing extremist activities within its borders. (ILKHA)
