The Turkish Coast Guard Command has successfully rescued 84 irregular migrants off the coast of Izmir and Aydın.
The migrants were reportedly pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greek elements in three separate incidents.
Upon rescue, the migrants, including women and children, were brought ashore by the Coast Guard Command teams. Additionally, another 50 irregular migrants were captured in the regions of İzmir and Aydın.
All irregular migrants have been handed over to the Provincial Migration Administration for processing and subsequent return to their respective countries.
The Coast Guard's timely intervention highlights the ongoing challenges and humanitarian concerns in the region. (ILKHA)
