Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to visit the United States
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will pay an official visit to the United States on Monday.
According to a statement released by the Ministry, the visit aims to discuss key issues in Türkiye–U.S. relations, as well as regional and global developments of mutual concern.
During his visit, Minister Fidan is expected to hold talks with senior U.S. officials to address a range of topics, including security cooperation, economic relations, defense industry collaboration, and ongoing developments in the Middle East.
The visit comes at a time when Türkiye continues to play a pivotal role in regional diplomacy, particularly regarding the situations in Gaza, Syria, and Ukraine. Ankara’s efforts to strengthen dialogue with Washington are viewed as part of its broader strategy to balance relations between its Western allies and regional partners.
