Türkiye says 9 PKK militants killed in northern Iraq operation

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that nine PKK militants were killed in northern Iraq as part of the ongoing Operation Claw-Lock.
“We did not and will not leave the blood of our martyrs unavenged. Nine PKK terrorists were neutralized in the Claw-Lock Operation area in northern Iraq. We remain resolute in our determination to eradicate terrorism at its source,” the Ministry declared in a statement.
Operation Claw-Lock, launched to dismantle PKK presence across the border, reflects Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to counter the group, which it designates as a terrorist organization. The Ministry provided no further details on the timing or specifics of the clashes. (ILKHA)
