Unidentified individuals attack HÜDA PAR election campaign stand in Mersin

The attack took place on the Bekirde road in Çilek Neighborhood of Mersin's Akdeniz district on Monday, according to local sources.
Unidentified individuals armed with guns and sticks assaulted the members of HÜDA PAR Mersin Provincial Youth Branch who were manning an election campaign stand for AK Party Mersin Deputy Candidate Faruk Dinç.
The attackers injured several young people, including members of the HÜDA PAR Youth Branch named B.K, Y.O., and Ş.E. The attackers then fled towards side streets.
It was reported that the attackers also fired shots with a gun, but fortunately, there were no injuries caused by the firearm.
Upon receiving notification from people in the area, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene to respond to the incident.
The police have initiated efforts to capture the assailants. (ILKHA)
