Iran summons Norwegian ambassador over parliament speaker's remarks

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned the Norwegian ambassador to Tehran to protest remarks made by the parliament speaker against the Islamic Republic.
“During the meeting, the Norwegian parliament head’s comments in an interview with a hostile media outlet in support of riots and his interference in Iran’s domestic affairs were strongly condemned and rejected,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry said
“The Norwegian envoy said the protest would be conveyed to Oslo,” it added.
In an interview with a London-based news outlet, Norwegian Parliament President Masud Gharahkhani expressed his support for anti-government protesters in Iran, urging them to continue their actions. (ILKHA)
