Afghanistan, Iran discuss strengthening bilateral ties at Moscow Format summit
Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Mohammad Reza Bahrami, a representative of Iran's Foreign Ministry, on the sidelines of the 8th Moscow Format Summit, discussing ways to strengthen relations between the two neighboring countries.
During the meeting, Muttaqi and Bahrami exchanged views on regional developments and explored avenues for expanding cooperation and coordination between Afghanistan and Iran.
The two officials also discussed strategies for further developing bilateral ties and strengthening mutual cooperation in areas of shared interest.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Moscow Format Summit, which brings together regional countries to discuss developments concerning Afghanistan and broader regional issues. (ILKHA)
