Afghanistan’s new ambassador to Russia assumes post, pledges closer ties

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the Russian Federation, Mawlawi Gul Hasan, officially assumed his duties during an introductory meeting with embassy staff on Wednesday.
In his address, Ambassador Hasan pledged to manage the embassy’s affairs with dedication and close collaboration with the staff, in line with his mandated responsibilities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan hailed the ambassador’s accreditation by Russia as a pivotal step toward deepening ties between the two nations.
The ministry expressed optimism that this development will enhance political, economic, and other areas of cooperation between Afghanistan and Russia.
