Al-Azhar University calls on Islamic World to support Palestine following Gaza hospital bombing
Al-Azhar University, chief centre of Islamic and Arabic learning in the world, has released a statement in the wake of the zionist occupation regime's bombing of a hospital in Gaza, urging the Islamic world to rally behind Palestine.
In a statement posted on its social media account, Al-Azhar emphasized the necessity for the Arab and Islamic ummah to reevaluate its trust in the US and Europe.
"The Islamic world must stand in solidarity with Palestine and its oppressed people, who are confronting an enemy that has seemingly lost its conscience, feelings, and emotions," Al-Azhar's statement read.
The university concluded its message with a prayer, saying: "May Allah have mercy on our innocent martyrs.". (ILKHA)
