Ansarullah leader hails Iran’s “glorious victory” over Israel

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on a "glorious victory" over the Israeli regime and its Western allies in the recent war.
In a televised address from the Yemeni capital on Thursday, al-Houthi framed Iran’s military success as a historic and strategic triumph not just for Tehran, but for the entire Muslim world.
“We felicitate Iran on its great victory over the aggressive, oppressive, and criminal Israeli enemy,” al-Houthi declared. “This victory benefited the entire Islamic world.”
He criticized Israel’s U.S.-backed military efforts, saying the war was a culmination of more than a year of planning by Tel Aviv and its Western supporters — including the United States, Britain, Germany, and France — aimed at weakening the Islamic Republic’s position in West Asia.
“The defeat that the Zionist enemy and its partners suffered marks a victory for the entire Muslim Ummah,” he added, emphasizing that Muslim nations must remain united and reliant on divine authority to overcome ongoing regional threats.
Al-Houthi also praised the responses of Pakistan and Türkiye, commending their denunciations of the Israeli strikes as more principled compared to other Muslim-majority governments.
He noted that Iranian missile retaliations caused substantial damage and psychological shock to Israeli settlers, who were forced into bomb shelters during the attacks. “The Zionists experienced the same conditions as Palestinians in Gaza in terms of bombardment and destruction,” he said.
Highlighting Iran's resilience, al-Houthi argued that neither military might nor diplomatic pressure succeeded in forcing Tehran to surrender. “The defeat of the Israeli enemy at the military level was completely obvious. The Zionist entity failed to achieve its goals,” he asserted.
He concluded by criticizing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for issuing only a statement of condemnation and called for greater unity among Muslim nations on critical issues like Palestine.
“It is a great blessing and divine victory that the Israeli enemy is defeated despite its might, aggression, and Western support,” al-Houthi said. (ILKHA)
