Ansarullah warns U.S.: Yemen ready to defend against potential attacks

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansarullah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, cautioned the United States against launching any attacks on Yemen.
Al-Houthi emphasized that American battleships and vessels would become targets for Yemeni missiles in the event of an attack.
During a speech delivered on Wednesday, al-Houthi stated: "If the United States is considering targeting Yemen, we will not stand idly by." He expressed the readiness of Yemen to engage in direct warfare with the U.S. and "Israel," rather than through proxies.
Al-Houthi urged Arab countries not to align with the United States in any potential conflict, emphasizing that if the U.S. chooses to confront Yemen over its support for Palestine, it would face resistance from the entire Yemeni people. He warned of a situation more severe than what the U.S. encountered in Afghanistan and Vietnam.
Highlighting Yemen's enhanced capabilities, al-Houthi cautioned against any U.S. strikes, emphasizing that Yemen has developed its capacities on various levels.
In reference to U.S. military navigation in the Red Sea, al-Houthi deemed it "illegal" and a "reckless and foolish aggression" benefiting Israel. He assured European companies that vessels not destined for Israeli ports would not be at risk.
Addressing the goals of the U.S.-led coalition in the Red Sea, al-Houthi stated that its actual objective is not to protect international navigation but to implicate countries in safeguarding Israeli ships. He called on Red Sea-coast countries to condemn the U.S. move, emphasizing that turning the Red Sea into a battlefield is detrimental to all nations.
Al-Houthi commended Malaysia's decision to prohibit israeli shipping companies from engaging in any activity in Malaysian ports. (ILKHA)
