At least 5 civilians killed in US aggression on Yemen

The United States has sharply intensified its aerial campaign in Yemen, launching 27 airstrikes on Saada Governorate in the past 12 hours, local sources reported on Thursday.
The barrage, part of a broader US-led coalition offensive, has claimed five lives, injured five others, and left one person missing, according to Yemeni Health Ministry spokesperson Anis al-Asbahi.
The latest wave of attacks saw US reconnaissance aircraft strike a civilian vehicle in Saada’s Majz district, following two earlier airstrikes in the same area. Overnight, US warplanes pounded the Kitaf district and the Kahlan area east of Saada, extending the assault beyond the governorate’s borders. In central Yemen, the communications network in Jabal Namah, located in Ibb Governorate’s Jablah district, was hit, while aggression continued in Taiz in the south, signaling a widening scope of operations.
Al-Asbahi revealed the staggering toll of US-led airstrikes since mid-March, with 61 people killed and 139 wounded across Sana’a and other governorates. He further noted that since Yemen initiated its military support operation for Gaza, the US-British-Israeli coalition has been responsible for 964 civilian casualties, including 250 deaths.
The escalation follows Yemen’s sustained resistance efforts, including naval operations targeting Israeli-linked vessels in solidarity with Gaza. As Yemen persists in its stance against Israeli aggression, the US has ramped up its military response, striking multiple provinces to undermine Yemen’s strategic capabilities. The intensified bombardment underscores Washington’s deepening involvement in the conflict, further compounding Yemen’s humanitarian crisis as the war-torn nation braces for more violence. (ILKHA)
