Death toll from Israeli attacks in south Lebanon rises to 15

The Lebanese Health Ministry's Public Health Emergency Operations Center has reported a tragic rise in the death toll following continued Israeli attacks targeting civilians attempting to return to their occupied southern towns.
The latest casualties include a citizen killed in Odaisseh, a man and a young woman who lost their lives in Meiss El Jabal, and another individual who was fatally shot in Markaba. These incidents bring the total number of fatalities from Israeli aggression to 15, according to the ministry's statement.
In addition to the deaths, five people were injured in Maroun El Ras, further highlighting the dangers faced by those trying to reclaim their homes and villages despite the continued occupation.
The Lebanese government has condemned the attacks as violations of international law and human rights, particularly as they target unarmed civilians in their own territory. The Lebanese Army has been working to escort civilians back to their towns and has called for international intervention to ensure the safety of its citizens.
Lebanese officials and human rights groups have reiterated their call for an immediate halt to Israeli aggression, emphasizing the importance of respecting Lebanon’s sovereignty and the dignity of its people. (ILKHA)
