Gaza endures 58th day of relentless israeli aggression: Renewed airstrikes and mass casualties

The israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has entered its 58th consecutive day, marked by renewed airstrikes, artillery shelling, and reports of more casualties.
The situation has witnessed ongoing acts of violence, including massacres and what is described as acts of genocide, with fierce clashes and heroic resistance reported at infiltration axes.
According to local sources, israeli aircraft, artillery, and naval forces conducted numerous airstrikes and shelling operations across various parts of the Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous casualties. The zionist occupation forces focused their intense shelling on Khan Yunis, declaring it a war zone and issuing evacuation orders for multiple neighborhoods as part of forced displacement measures.
Among the reported incidents, israeli aircraft targeted houses belonging to the Dahshan and Akkah families in the Asqula neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Tragically, journalist Dr. Hassan Farajallah, a staff member of Al-Quds Al-Youm satellite channel, became one of the casualties of the Israeli attacks, bringing the total number of journalist martyrs to 74.
The israeli warplanes also targeted houses in the town of Al-Qarara, east of northern Khan Yunis, and destroyed a mosque in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The Al-Ghandour family's house in Khan Yunis was shelled, resulting in one fatality and 10 injuries, including critical cases.
Throughout the Gaza Strip, israeli artillery heavily shelled eastern areas of Khan Yunis, while aerial bombings, including the use of phosphorous and smoke bombs, targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Reports indicate casualties in a bombing that targeted a house accommodating displaced people in the Daraj neighborhood in Gaza.
In various locations, including the Al-Bureij camp and the Nuseirat refugee camp, Israeli bombings resulted in numerous casualties, with civilians, including women and children, among the victims. The ongoing violence extends to naval gunboat attacks and the targeting of residential areas, as witnessed in the western part of Khan Yunis.
The Gaza Strip remains a flashpoint, with the Israeli military actions causing a significant toll on civilian lives. The Government Media Office (GMO) reported that the number of martyrs has surpassed 15,207, with over 40,650 wounded.
Notably, 70% of the casualties are children and women, and more than 7,500 individuals are reported missing, the majority of whom are children. The situation continues to raise international concerns about the humanitarian crisis in the region. (ILKHA)
