Hamas calls for global solidarity marches to protest ethnic cleansing of Palestine

Hamas Movement has urged people around the globe to unite in massive demonstrations from this Friday through Sunday, denouncing the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
In a statement, Hamas implored: "We call on the masses of our people, our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world to go out in massive solidarity marches." This mobilization is intended to challenge "the plans to displace our Palestinian people from their land," emphasizing the urgency of the situation in both Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
Hamas underscored that these protests serve to reaffirm the Palestinian people's legitimate right to freedom, independence, and self-determination in the face of relentless Israeli military campaigns. The Movement also expressed appreciation for the global voices that have stood in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, particularly those condemning Israel’s escalating attacks on Gaza and the West Bank.
The call for demonstrations comes as former U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his controversial proposal to forcibly remove Palestinians from Gaza and relocate them to Egypt and Jordan, while turning the besieged enclave into a luxury resort hub, dubbing it the “Riviera of the Middle East.” This proposal, widely condemned by human rights organizations, has been viewed as an endorsement of Israel’s ongoing settler-colonial project.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continue their violent raids in the occupied West Bank, intensifying the systematic displacement of Palestinian families. Reports of home demolitions, arbitrary arrests, and deadly assaults by Israeli soldiers have further fueled international outrage.
As Palestinian resistance continues against decades of occupation, the call for global demonstrations signals a growing international movement demanding justice, freedom, and an end to Israeli apartheid. (ILKHA)
