Hamas: No deal without full ceasefire, withdrawal, and Gaza reconstruction

Hamas has confirmed that its leadership is reviewing a new ceasefire proposal for Gaza presented by international mediators and will issue a formal response following internal consultations.
In a statement released Monday night, the Palestinian resistance movement said: “Our leadership is studying the proposal with great national responsibility and will submit a response as soon as the necessary consultations are completed.”
Hamas reiterated the core conditions required for any potential agreement, including the establishment of a permanent ceasefire, a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, a genuine prisoner exchange, the launch of a serious reconstruction process, and an end to the siege imposed on the people of Gaza.
The proposal comes amid continued international efforts, particularly from mediators in Egypt and Qatar, to broker an agreement that would bring an end to the months-long Israeli aggression on Gaza, which has caused unprecedented humanitarian suffering.
While no details of the new proposal have been made public, the statement signals Hamas’s continued insistence on a comprehensive and just resolution that addresses the root causes of the conflict, rather than a temporary halt to hostilities.
International observers await Hamas's official response, which could determine the next phase of negotiations and the fate of millions in the besieged Gaza Strip. (ILKHA)
