Türkiye's Religious Affairs President finalizes 2025 Hajj preparations in Medina

Türkiye’s President of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, wrapped up critical discussions in Medina with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq er-Rabia, to finalize preparations for the 2025 Hajj season.
The meeting focused on coordinating logistics and spiritual arrangements to ensure a seamless pilgrimage for Turkish Hajj participants. Both officials reviewed collaborative efforts to enhance safety and organization for the upcoming season.
Erbaş also attended the opening of the Medina Hajj and Umrah Fair, a global platform showcasing innovations and services for the pilgrimage. The event fosters collaboration among Hajj missions and providers worldwide.
In a social media post, Erbaş emphasized Türkiye’s commitment to excellence. “We held our final 2025 Hajj preparation meetings with Dr. Tawfiq er-Rabia and joined the Medina Hajj and Umrah Fair’s opening,” he stated. He highlighted that Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs earned top honors for Hajj organization in 2023 and 2024, adding, “We are working diligently to achieve the same this year. Work is ours; success belongs to Allah.”
