Hamas praises Egypt and Jordan for rejecting Palestinian displacement plans

The Hamas Movement has expressed its gratitude to Egypt and Jordan for their firm rejection of any plans to forcibly relocate Palestinians from Gaza under any justification or pretext.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hamas emphasized the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in remaining on their land and resisting any efforts to displace them. “Our people will remain loyal to their land and will resist any attempt to uproot them from Gaza,” the statement declared.
Hamas also urged the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to voice their support for Palestinian rights and to take a strong stance against any displacement plans targeting Palestinians.
The statement followed a proposal by U.S. President Donald Trump, suggesting the removal of Gaza's Palestinian population and their relocation to Egypt and Jordan. Both nations vehemently rejected the idea on Sunday.
Egypt underscored its opposition to any plans to move Palestinians from their land, whether temporarily or permanently, reaffirming its commitment to the rights of the Palestinian people. Jordan echoed this stance, declaring its position “firm and unwavering” against any displacement of Palestinians.
The rejection by Egypt and Jordan reinforces regional opposition to any solutions that undermine Palestinian sovereignty and the rights of Palestinians to remain in their homeland. (ILKHA)
