Iranian President warns of harsher retaliation if Israeli strikes continue

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a stern warning to the Israeli regime, pledging more “severe and decisive” retaliation if attacks on Iran persist.
Speaking during a cabinet meeting, President Pezeshkian stated that Iran's armed forces have thus far responded “strongly and appropriately” to the Israeli strikes, and made it clear that continued aggression would be met with even greater force.
He called on regional nations to adopt “a clear, decisive, and effective stance against Israel’s aggression,” urging collective resistance to what he described as an unrestrained campaign of violence across the region.
The Iranian leader accused Israel of committing crimes in the region “without any restrictions,” attributing this impunity to the backing of the United States. “What we are witnessing today is being done with the direct support of Washington,” he said, adding that Israel acts with U.S. approval and cannot take such measures independently.
President Pezeshkian's remarks reflect Iran’s intensifying rhetoric amid ongoing retaliatory operations against Israeli targets, part of what Tehran describes as a legitimate response to recent Israeli attacks on Iranian territory, including the capital Tehran.
The situation remains volatile, with international calls for de-escalation growing louder as fears of a broader regional conflict mount. (ILKHA)
