Israeli occupation forces demolished two Palestinian homes on Tuesday in the village of Deir Razeh, southwest of Dura in the southern occupied West Bank.

Local resident Ashraf Amr told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Israeli bulldozers razed the homes of Riyad Yasser Amr and Ayman Yasser Amr, each measuring approximately 120 square meters.

According to Amr, Israeli forces began demolishing the houses without allowing the families sufficient time to remove their furniture, personal belongings, or household possessions, leaving them homeless and causing significant material losses.

The demolitions came just hours after Israeli forces destroyed another Palestinian home in the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, as the occupation authorities intensified their demolition campaign throughout the occupied West Bank.

Palestinian sources said the latest incidents bring the number of homes demolished by Israeli occupation forces since Monday morning to more than 13, in addition to three other structures destroyed in the governorates of Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Jenin.

Residents of Deir Razeh say the village and neighboring communities in western Dura have witnessed a sharp increase in demolition orders, stop-work notices, and restrictions on Palestinian construction in recent months.

Palestinian officials argue that the demolitions form part of a broader Israeli policy aimed at expanding settlement activity, restricting Palestinian urban growth, and consolidating control over strategically important areas of the occupied West Bank.

Human rights organizations have repeatedly condemned Israel's demolition of Palestinian homes, warning that the practice results in the forced displacement of families and may violate international humanitarian law. They argue that such measures deepen the humanitarian crisis, deprive Palestinians of adequate housing, and contribute to changing the demographic composition of occupied territory.

The international community has consistently regarded Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as illegal under international law, while Palestinian officials continue to call for international action to halt home demolitions and protect Palestinian communities from displacement.

The latest demolitions come amid heightened tensions across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli military operations, settlement expansion, and demolitions have intensified, fueling growing concerns over the humanitarian situation and the continued erosion of Palestinian communities' ability to remain on their land.
