Israeli occupation forces have issued demolition notices for 10 Palestinian homes and agricultural structures in the town of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.

According to local official Tawfiq al-Hajj, Israeli occupation troops stormed Beit Dajan and delivered demolition notices affecting 10 structures, including residential homes, agricultural facilities and a closed poultry farm.

Al-Hajj said all of the targeted buildings are located in the central and eastern parts of the town, warning that the planned demolitions threaten the livelihoods of several Palestinian families and farmers who rely on the affected properties.

At the same time, Israeli occupation forces entered the village of Jalbun, east of Jenin, and demolished a Palestinian house that was still under construction. The occupation authorities claimed the building had been erected without an Israeli-issued permit, a justification frequently used to demolish Palestinian homes in Area C of the occupied West Bank, where Palestinians face severe restrictions in obtaining construction permits.

Palestinian officials and human rights organizations argue that Israel's restrictive planning regime makes it virtually impossible for Palestinians to secure building permits, forcing many families to construct homes without authorization to meet basic housing needs. They describe the demolition policy as part of a broader effort to displace Palestinians and facilitate the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements.

The latest demolitions come amid an intensified Israeli campaign across the occupied West Bank, where occupation forces have increased home demolitions, land confiscations and military raids alongside expanding settlement activities. Palestinian communities have repeatedly warned that such measures are accelerating forced displacement and deepening humanitarian hardships.

International organizations, including the United Nations, have repeatedly stated that the destruction of Palestinian homes and property in occupied territory raises serious concerns under international humanitarian law. The UN has called on Israel to halt demolitions and forced evictions, warning that they contribute to displacement, undermine Palestinian livelihoods and further diminish prospects for a just and lasting peace.

Residents of Beit Dajan and Jalbun have vowed to remain on their land despite the demolition orders, saying the measures form part of a broader policy aimed at consolidating Israeli control over occupied Palestinian territory while placing increasing pressure on Palestinian communities to leave their homes.
