Two Turkish citizens among victims of israeli strikes in south Lebanon

Two Turkish citizens, Seyfullah Öztürk and Yakup Erdal, lost their lives on Tuesday in israeli airstrikes in south Lebanon.
The strikes also claimed the life of a senior Hamas official, Khalil Hamid Araz, the deputy commander of Kassam's Lebanese organization, according to a statement released by Hamas on Wednesday.
The two Turks had embarked on a journey from Türkiye to offer support to Gaza and were killed on the Palestinian-Lebanese border when their vehicle, carrying a total of five people, was hit by an Israeli airstrike targeting Araz's convoy.
The casualties on Tuesday amounted to nine individuals, including two journalists, two civilians, and five Hamas members who fell victim to an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon.
The Hamas statement confirmed that all occupants of the car, including the two Turkish citizens, lost their lives. (ILKHA)
