Yemenii forces launch fourth phase of naval blockade against Israeli regime

The Sanaa forces announced on Sunday evening the launch of a new phase in their military escalation against the Israeli regime, declaring the commencement of the fourth phase of their naval blockade in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In an official statement, the forces declared that the latest stage of the blockade would target all ships belonging to any company that conducts trade with Israeli ports, irrespective of the company’s nationality or flag.
“This phase includes targeting all ships belonging to any company dealing with Israeli ports, regardless of nationality, and anywhere within the reach of the armed forces,” the statement read.
The Sanaa forces issued a stark warning to international shipping and logistics companies, urging them to immediately suspend all dealings with Israeli ports. “As of the time of this announcement, any ships linked to companies that continue such dealings will be subject to targeting, regardless of their destination,” the statement said.
They stressed that both missile and drone strikes could be employed against such vessels anywhere within operational range.
The statement further called on world governments to exert pressure on Israel to halt its war on Gaza and lift the siege if they wished to avoid an escalation in the Red Sea and surrounding waters.
The Sanaa forces reaffirmed that the blockade and escalation were part of their continued military campaign in solidarity with Gaza, which has been under relentless Israeli bombardment and siege.
This fourth phase marks the most expansive step yet in the naval campaign, signaling that any entity maintaining commercial relations with Israeli ports could now face direct consequences on the high seas. (ILKHA)
