Türkiye’s consumer confidence rises to 85.0 in November
Türkiye’s Consumer Confidence Index increased to 85.0 in November, marking a 1.6% rise from October’s figure of 83.6, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) reported on Thursday.
The index, calculated based on the Consumer Tendency Survey, is conducted jointly by TurkStat and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. The survey measures households’ perceptions of the economy, personal finances, and their willingness to make major purchases, serving as a key indicator of consumer sentiment.
The uptick in November suggests a modest improvement in consumer confidence, reflecting growing optimism among Turkish households about economic conditions and spending prospects. (ILKHA)
