The foreign ministers of Türkiye, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have issued a strongly worded joint statement condemning Israel's ongoing aggression and grave violations against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The statement denounced Israel's continued attacks on hospitals, healthcare facilities, humanitarian infrastructure, and civilian neighborhoods, which have resulted in the killing and injury of thousands of Palestinians, including women and children.

The ministers stressed that these actions constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law and warned that Israel's continued military campaign is deepening one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.

The eight nations warned that Israel's continued military offensive is undermining international efforts to implement the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, despite recent diplomatic progress following the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump that Palestinian factions had accepted the proposed roadmap.

According to the ministers, Israel's repeated violations threaten to derail negotiations, sabotage efforts toward a permanent ceasefire, and prolong the suffering of more than two million Palestinians living under devastating humanitarian conditions in the besieged Gaza Strip.

They emphasized that the continuation of military attacks despite ongoing diplomatic initiatives demonstrates a disregard for international efforts aimed at ending the conflict.

The ministers stressed that protecting Palestinian civilians is a legal and moral obligation under international law.

They demanded an immediate end to attacks on hospitals, ambulances, humanitarian workers, and civilian infrastructure, while calling for the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, food, and fuel throughout Gaza.

The statement warned that preventing humanitarian assistance from reaching civilians and targeting healthcare facilities constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law.

The ministers said the ongoing assault on Gaza cannot be separated from Israeli policies in the occupied West Bank.

They condemned the continued expansion of illegal Israeli settlements, escalating attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, and attempts to alter the historical and legal status of Occupied East Jerusalem, particularly around Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the statement, these actions form part of a broader policy aimed at consolidating the occupation, imposing facts on the ground through force, and undermining the Palestinian people's right to self-determination.

The ministers warned that such measures continue to erode the prospects of achieving a just and lasting peace based on international legitimacy.

The eight countries called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to move beyond statements of concern and take practical measures to compel Israel to comply with international law and relevant UN resolutions. (ILKHA)

The ministers reaffirmed that forced displacement and demographic changes imposed through military force are unacceptable and violate international law.

They stressed that a just and comprehensive peace can only be achieved through the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

The joint declaration reflects growing regional solidarity with the Palestinian people and renewed calls for decisive international action to end Israeli military operations and alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Reaffirming their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, the ministers stressed that justice, accountability, an end to the occupation, and the realization of the Palestinian people's legitimate national rights remain essential prerequisites for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
