Ex-mayors of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Selçuk Mızraklı, Kayapınar, Bismil and Kocaköy Municipality have been taken into custody in Diyarbakır.
Turkish police on Monday detained Adnan Selçuk Mızraklı, the former mayor of Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakır, and three other district mayors from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) party.
Mayors of Metropolitan Municipality in Diyarbakir, Mardin and Van provinces, they were all from the HDP, were suspended over alleged terror links in mid- August. (ILKHA)
