Nine-month-old baby killed; 5 others injured in road accident in southeastern Turkey
A nine-month-old baby was killed and 5 others injured after a car collapsed in the Siverek district of Turkey’s southeastern Şanlıurfa province.
The accident happened Thursday morning on the Siverek- Diyarbakır Highway, according to local sources.
The victim was identified as Aleyna Toprak, a nine-month-old baby, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ambulances, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene after the accident had been reported to the officials.
The injured have been taken to Siverek State Hospital.
An investigation has been launched into the accident, the officials said. (ILKHA)
