Turkish students win 14 medals at international science olympiads
Turkish students won a total of 21 awards at major international science olympiads held across Europe and Asia, according to Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır.
In a statement shared on social media, Kacır congratulated the students for successfully representing Türkiye in a series of prestigious international competitions.
Strong performance across four international competitions
At the 6th European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics held in Cesenatico, Italy, Turkish students secured three silver medals and one bronze medal.
At the 10th European Physics Olympiad in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Turkish team earned one silver medal, one bronze medal and one honorable mention.
Meanwhile, at the 26th Asian Physics Olympiad in Busan, South Korea, Turkish students won two bronze medals and six honorable mentions.
Mathematics team claims gold in Balkan competition
At the 30th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Buzău, Romania, Türkiye's representatives achieved one gold medal, three silver medals and two bronze medals.
According to the ministry, Turkish students returned from the four international events with a combined total of 14 medals and seven honorable mentions, bringing the overall tally to 21 awards.

Kacır praised the students for their achievements and their successful representation of Türkiye on the international stage.
