YPG to pull out from Manbij if the roadmap is implemented: Çavuşoğlu
"If the roadmap is implemented, YPG will pull out from Manbij, Otherwise, we will have to intervene," Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu said.
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, after meeting with US counterpart Mike Pompeo, said, "If the roadmap is implemented, YPG will be withdrawn from Manbij, otherwise we will have to intervene against the terrorists just like we did in Afrin."
"We will implement the Manbij model in other parts of Syria, particularly east of the Euphrates. We will, therefore, be taking a step with the U.S. on an issue that causes tension in our bilateral ties," said Çavuşoğlu regarding the YPG presence in Manbij. (ILKHA)
