Abdulsamet Yalçın, HÜDA PAR’s Erbil Representative, delivered a speech at the ceremony that was held to celebrate the tenth founding anniversary of his party.
HÜDA PAR, which came to the political scene with the motto "Honest Politics, True Justice", is marking the tenth anniversary of its foundation under the motto “the country needs HÜDA PAR”.
HÜDA PAR chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the party’s founders and officials, NGO representatives, academics, members of the press, and numerous invitees are participating in the celebration program held by HÜDA PAR Headquarters at Sezai Karakoç Culture Center in Diyarbakır.
Speaking at the event, Abdulsamet Yalçın, the Erbil Representative of the party, underlined that political parties should be at the service of their people.
“Ten years ago today, HÜDA PAR was established as a political movement. We are now in a position to remember and account for the past years. Today, we remember the pains and sufferings of our country, and our people as well as the work and political activities that we have presented through the HÜDA PAR movement. Political parties are not established to satisfy the system and make the official ideology accepted by the people. They are not founded to make people serve the party itself, the state, and the system. Political parties are founded to put the system and the state at the service of the people. They are formed to satisfy the demand for security, justice, defense, education, and other services,” Yalçın said.
Yalçın went on to say: “Holy Quran says ‘Surely Allah enjoins justice’. Allah the Almighty does not force people to serve the state and the political system. The state and the system are established for 'justice'. The people are not for the state, the state is for the people.”
Noting that after the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, the members of the Committee of Union and Progress moved it away from its goal, Yalçın said: “The people were treated like slaves. They inflicted unprecedented cruelty on millions of innocents in order to keep them away from their history and faith. They convicted Islam, which used to stick all nations together like a clamp. They waged a war against the creed and practices of Islam. They uprooted the consciousness of coexistence and being Ummah. Turkish racism and the national state imposed on us. They rejected and denied the existence of all races except the Turks. They adopted the nation-state model to implement this project. Through the nation-state model, our people were crushed, humiliated, left hungry, and miserable for decades. Those who set on foot to serve their people were jailed, persecuted, and exiled. In spite of so much cruelty and hardship, we did not remain unresponsive and felt compelled to gather under an organization in order to remove the suffering of our people and to be a cure for their problems. That organization is HÜDA PAR.”
“After the foundation of HÜDA PAR, we have included in our program the issues that can be solved. For this reason, we established strong relations with the President, then with members of the government, with members of parliament, with nobles and Islamic scholars, academics, media, writers, researchers, and people from all walks of life. In these talks and visits, we brought forward the concept of Ummah and built our policy on it. Because the reason for all unrestrained and unaccountable cruelty that is being committed in the country is the nation-state system. In order to establish justice, brotherhood, and peace in the country, the nation-state system should be thrown into the dustbin of history. Therefore, there will be a brotherhood among the citizens, friendly relations with the neighboring countries and the boundaries that were set between relatives will be removed.”
Yalçın continued as follows: “In order for the system to be in harmony with society's belief and for Islamic principles to be revived and brought to life, we tried many ways and methods.
We put forward the basic human principles: the safety of life, the safety of mind and thoughts and expression, the safety of religion, the safety of property, safety of generation and family.
In order to convince the officials, we knocked on many doors, sweated blood, and discussed with many political, civil, and state institutions.
For Kurds to have the same rights as Turks;
In order for Kurds and Turks should be accepted as the two founder elements of the state;
In order to make everybody understand that PKK is not the cause but the result of wrong policies;
In order to make everybody understand that Kurds and Turks are brothers and are completely equal, we held meetings and prepared and presented many projects and proposals.”
Reminding that HÜDA PAR opened its representative office in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2019, Yalçın said: “We have established good relations with the leader of the PDK Mr. Mesut Barzani, with the government officials and all regional parties, and with some parties of the federal government of Iraq. We established relationships with people from all walks of life Now, HÜDA PAR is known by the people of the region. There, HÜDA PAR is closely followed. Our program and our activities are talked about, there are discussions on them.”
“If HÜDA PAR’s policies reach their aims, the issue of the Kurds will be resolved, brotherhood will be established, and there will be no more wars and conflicts,” Yalçın emphasized. (ILKHA)
