22 Palestinians martyred in overnight Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

At least 22 Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were martyred overnight in a fresh wave of Israeli airstrikes that targeted residential homes across the northern and southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources and medical officials.
In one of the deadliest strikes, an Israeli drone attack struck a family home in Tel Al-Zaatar neighborhood in northern Gaza, killing 11 civilians, including two children and a woman, and injuring several more.
Simultaneously in the southern Gaza Strip, an Israeli warplane targeted the Baraka family home in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, killing 10 Palestinians. The victims were rushed to the Gaza European Hospital, where doctors reported critical injuries among the survivors.
Separately, another Palestinian was martyred in an earlier strike near Al-I'tisam Stadium in Khan Younis, bringing the total death toll from the overnight attacks to 22. Several others were reported wounded.
Israeli forces also demolished residential buildings in eastern Gaza City, as the occupation army continues its relentless and systematic bombardment across the besieged enclave.
Since the beginning of Israel’s full-scale military onslaught on Gaza in October 2023, at least 51,065 Palestinians — mostly women and children — have been killed, and over 116,505 injured, according to official documentation by health authorities. Thousands more are believed to be buried under rubble, as Israeli airstrikes have rendered emergency and civil defense teams unable to access affected areas.
Despite mounting international pressure, including a UN Security Council resolution demanding a ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) calling for immediate action to prevent genocide, Israel’s military campaign continues unabated.
The situation in Gaza remains catastrophic, with humanitarian organizations warning of mass starvation, disease outbreaks, and a total collapse of medical infrastructure. Palestinian civil society has described the campaign as a genocidal war of extermination, citing the deliberate targeting of residential neighborhoods, hospitals, and essential infrastructure.
As Gaza continues to endure one of the most brutal assaults in modern history, calls for accountability and justice are growing louder across the international community. (ILKHA)
