Diyarbakir shows solidarity with Hamas by hanging Abu Obaida's poster

The people of Diyarbakir, a predominantly Kurdish city in southeastern Türkiye, have expressed their support for Hamas by hanging a giant poster of Abu Obaida, the spokesperson of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
Abu Obaida, who has become a symbol for the Islamic Ummah, was seen on the walls of Diyarbakir yesterday and on the historic Ten-Eyed Bridge today.
The poster had the inscription "A thousand greetings from Diyarbakir to Abu Ubaydah" in Turkish as well as a quote from Abu Obaida's speech, saying "We do not want soldiers from you, we do not want weapons from you. Let in the food and medicine for our people. O Muslim leaders, are you this weak?"
The poster was hung by a group of activists who said they wanted to show their solidarity with the blessed struggle of Hamas against the Israeli occupation.
They said they were inspired by Saladin al Ayyubi, the Kurdish Muslim leader who conquered Jerusalem from the Crusaders in the 12th century.
The images of the hanging of the poster received thousands of shares on social media in a short time, with many users praising the gesture and calling for more unity among Muslims. (ILKHA)
