Israeli occupation forces carried out a wave of deadly airstrikes and drone attacks across the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians—many of them civilians desperately seeking food and shelter amid a deepening humanitarian catastrophe.

The strikes, which targeted aid distribution points, residential neighborhoods, and displacement centers, come as Gaza endures a worsening famine, with food insecurity reaching critical levels and essential services near total collapse under months of siege and bombardment.

One of the deadliest attacks occurred along the Netzarim corridor in northern Gaza, where Israeli forces struck gatherings of Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid. Multiple civilians were wounded in the assault, which directly hit areas near food distribution sites.

In Gaza City, four young men were martyred when Israeli warplanes bombed an area near the Osama Bin Zaid School in the al-Saftawi neighborhood, a site surrounded by civilian infrastructure. Additional strikes were reported in the al-Sabra neighborhood, further terrorizing residents and displacing families.

In central Gaza, occupation drones opened fire on Palestinians awaiting food assistance near the al-Bureij refugee camp. At least four civilians were killed, and over 90 others were wounded, according to medical sources at al-Awda Hospital. Witnesses reported that drones continued to fire live rounds at civilians on Salah al-Din Road—many of whom were children and elderly people—desperately queuing for aid.

In the overcrowded al-Nuseirat refugee camp, two more Palestinians were martyred near the Fayad roundabout following a targeted airstrike. Drone-launched bombs also struck displaced people taking shelter on nearby streets. Three additional bodies were later recovered from beneath the rubble after another strike hit a group of young men.

In the southern city of Khan Younis, an Israeli airstrike hit a displacement tent in the al-Mawasi area, injuring several people who had sought refuge from previous attacks. Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened fire in the Batn al-Samin area, leaving more civilians wounded.

These assaults reflect an ongoing pattern of targeting civilian infrastructure and gatherings—particularly those seeking aid—raising further alarm among humanitarian organizations and human rights observers. Gaza remains gripped by a man-made famine, driven by the blockade and repeated Israeli targeting of aid convoys, distribution centers, and essential infrastructure.

The escalation underscores what Palestinian rights advocates describe as a deliberate campaign of collective punishment, with the repeated bombing of food lines and refugee shelters forming part of what many call a policy of enforced starvation and forced displacement.
