Gaza bleeds during Eid: Over 100 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks

More than 100 Palestinians were martyred and over 300 others wounded in the Gaza Strip during the first two days of Eid al-Adha, as Israeli forces continued their brutal and unrelenting aggression against the besieged enclave, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Officials reported that these figures only represent those who managed to reach hospitals amid constant bombardment and devastated infrastructure, meaning the actual toll may be significantly higher.
On the first day of Eid, Friday, 33 Palestinians were killed—many of them civilians—following direct Israeli attacks on people desperately seeking aid near distribution points, as well as strikes on tents sheltering displaced families. Medical sources confirmed that the victims were among those already suffering under months of siege, displacement, and starvation.
The bloodshed intensified on Saturday. Gaza’s Government Media Office accused Israeli occupation forces of committing yet another massacre, this time targeting Palestinians in Rafah who were trying to obtain food and basic necessities. Eight civilians were martyred, and at least 61 others were injured in the attack.
The Eid holiday, a time meant for celebration and unity, has instead become a period of deep sorrow and mourning for the people of Gaza. Entire families continue to suffer under a relentless assault that has spared neither children, women, nor the elderly. With humanitarian aid severely restricted and constant airstrikes preventing safe movement, Palestinians in Gaza remain trapped in what human rights observers describe as an ever-worsening catastrophe.
Calls are growing louder from across the world for an immediate end to the aggression and for full accountability for the war crimes being committed against the Palestinian people. (ILKHA)
