Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of Hamas' political bureau, has expressed openness to continued negotiations with certain conditions, emphasizing efforts towards a peaceful resolution.

Haniyeh outlined the principles under discussion during negotiations, including the cessation of aggression, a complete withdrawal of israeli forces, the return of displaced individuals, and addressing the humanitarian aspects of the conflict. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of reaching an honorable prisoner exchange agreement.

He stated that if the resistance received a clear response from mediators regarding these principles, Hamas would be prepared to proceed with an agreement.

However, Haniyeh also pointed out that the responsibility for the failure to reach an agreement in Gaza would fall on the occupying forces. Despite this, he reiterated Hamas' willingness to engage in further negotiations.

Throughout the negotiation process, Hamas has consistently emphasized three key conditions: ending aggression, full withdrawal from Gaza, and addressing humanitarian concerns, including the return of displaced individuals.

Haniyeh expressed disappointment with the lack of clear guarantees from the opposing side, particularly regarding a ceasefire, full withdrawal of forces, and the return of displaced individuals.
