The Iranian Army confirmed on Wednesday that it had conducted a large-scale drone operation targeting strategic US military infrastructure at Doha Camp in western Kuwait as part of the 21st phase of Operation Saeqeh.

According to an official military statement, Iranian drones struck ammunition depots and logistical facilities belonging to the US Army's Ground Forces Command at Doha Camp, one of Washington's most significant military installations in the region. Iranian officials said the operation was carefully planned to weaken the logistical capabilities supporting US military deployments across West Asia.

The Iranian Armed Forces emphasized that the strikes were carried out in direct retaliation for what they described as repeated US attacks on Iranian territory, reaffirming that the Islamic Republic's military actions are aimed exclusively at American military assets rather than the people of neighboring countries.

"Iran harbors no hostility toward the peoples of the region," the statement stressed, adding that the operations are a response to "the crimes the United States has committed and continues to commit against Iran."

Strategic Importance of Doha Camp

Iranian military officials identified Doha Camp as one of the largest and most strategically significant US military bases in western Kuwait. The installation functions as a major logistical center supporting American military operations throughout West Asia and hosts extensive stocks of military equipment, alongside personnel from the US Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The Iranian Army stated that disrupting such strategic facilities is intended to reduce Washington's ability to sustain military operations targeting Iran and the wider region.

Reaffirming the country's defensive posture, the Armed Forces declared that they remain fully prepared to confront any future acts of aggression, stressing that Iran's military capabilities stand ready to respond decisively to any new hostile actions.

IRGC Highlights Continued Resistance

Earlier this week, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had successfully destroyed an American early warning radar system during a separate drone operation targeting Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. According to the IRGC, the operation also struck an equipment warehouse and an MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle hangar used by US forces.

The IRGC stated that these operations form part of Iran's broader campaign to hold the United States accountable for its military actions against the Islamic Republic.

Message to the Kuwaiti People

In its statement, the IRGC directly addressed the people of Kuwait, asserting that American military forces have maintained a long-term presence on Kuwaiti soil and have used regional bases to conduct military campaigns across the Islamic world.

The Guard said the current confrontation began after what it described as US aggression launched from regional military bases, accusing Washington of carrying out attacks that resulted in the deaths of civilians, including children, and senior Iranian figures.

Calling for regional solidarity, the IRGC urged the Kuwaiti people not to allow their territory to be used as a platform for military operations against neighboring nations, expressing hope that Kuwait would reject any role in facilitating further American military actions.

Iranian officials have repeatedly maintained that their military operations are defensive in nature and are intended to deter continued US aggression while safeguarding the country's sovereignty and regional security. (ILKHA)
