Iranian President Pezeshkian reaffirms commitment to strengthening ties with Bahrain

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated the Islamic Republic’s commitment to deepening relations with neighboring and Muslim countries, emphasizing Iran’s eagerness to enhance ties with Bahrain.
In a phone conversation on Wednesday with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Pezeshkian assured that Tehran would make every effort to facilitate and accelerate cooperation between the two nations. The discussion took place on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, during which the Iranian president extended his congratulations to the King and the people of Bahrain.
Highlighting the significance of unity among Islamic nations, Pezeshkian underscored Iran’s dedication to fostering regional solidarity and cooperation.
In response, King Hamad congratulated President Pezeshkian and the Iranian people on Eid, stressing the historical and friendly ties between Iran and Bahrain. The Bahraini monarch expressed his country’s willingness to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Reflecting on his past visit to Tehran and a meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the King requested that Pezeshkian convey his warm regards to the Supreme Leader.
King Hamad also expressed appreciation for Iran’s constructive approach to regional collaboration and voiced his enthusiasm for a future meeting with President Pezeshkian to explore avenues for expanding bilateral ties.
