Israeli occupation forces continued their deadly attacks across the Gaza Strip early Tuesday, killing an entire Palestinian family of six—including four young children—in a devastating airstrike on Gaza City.

According to local sources, Israeli warplanes targeted a civilian home in the al-Sabri neighborhood of Gaza City, reducing it to rubble and engulfing the area in flames.

Civil defense crews struggled for hours to reach the site due to the intensity of the fire sparked by the bombardment. After extinguishing the blaze, rescue teams recovered the bodies of six members of the same family from beneath the debris.

The victims were identified as Firas al-Masri, his wife Salsabeel al-Masri, and their four children—Naeem, Firyal, Salma, and Amira. Three of the slain children were girls, adding to the growing number of Palestinian children killed in Israel's ongoing military campaign against Gaza.

Firefighters and municipal workers managed to contain the fire before it spread to neighboring homes, preventing an even greater tragedy.

Elsewhere in the southern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian civilian was wounded after Israeli occupation forces opened fire near the Bir 19 junction in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis.

Residents also reported a powerful explosion followed by heavy gunfire east of Gaza City as Israeli occupation troops carried out a military incursion southeast of the az-Zeitoun neighborhood. Israeli artillery shelling and live fire were likewise reported east of Khan Yunis, further terrorizing civilians living under constant bombardment.

The latest attacks came only hours after Israeli occupation drones struck the first floor of Al-Yemen al-Saeed Hospital in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza on Monday night.

The strike killed four more Palestinian civilians, including women, and wounded several others, according to local sources.

The victims were identified as Jamil Abu Shaqfa, his daughter Nour Abu Shaqfa, Shireen Issa, and Nour Matar.

The continued targeting of residential neighborhoods, civilian infrastructure, and medical facilities comes despite an existing ceasefire agreement that was intended to halt Israel's military offensive on the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian officials and humanitarian organizations have repeatedly warned that Israel's ongoing attacks, coupled with the blockade and restrictions on humanitarian aid, are worsening an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis, with civilians—particularly women and children—continuing to bear the overwhelming burden of the violence.

The latest killings add to the mounting toll of Palestinian civilians lost since the beginning of Israel's military campaign, as calls grow for urgent international action to end the attacks, ensure accountability for alleged violations of international humanitarian law, and provide protection for Gaza's civilian population.
