Israeli occupation issues new forcible 'evacuation orders' in Gaza

The Israeli occupation issued new forcible evacuation orders for civilians in several areas of Gaza City on Friday, escalating its ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people.
Local sources report that Israeli forces have ordered residents in the neighborhoods of Zeitoun, Shuja'iyya, and Al-Tuffah, situated in the eastern part of Gaza City, to leave their homes immediately. The Israeli forces instructed the civilians to head westward towards the outskirts of the city, forcing thousands to flee their homes and livelihoods amid an intensifying military assault.
Since resuming its brutal aggression on Gaza on March 18, 2025, Israeli occupation forces have killed at least 1,522 Palestinian civilians, with a staggering 3,834 others injured, the majority of whom are women and children. These new evacuation orders come as part of Israel's continued efforts to uproot the Palestinian population, displace entire communities, and continue its occupation of Palestinian lands.
Despite Israel's repeated violations of international law, including the forced displacement of civilians and collective punishment, the Palestinian people continue to resist these efforts to erase their presence and claim to their land. The international community must hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its actions and work to end the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation. (ILKHA)
