Israeli settlers vandalize home and vehicles in Kifl Haris, West Bank
Israeli settlers vandalized a residential home and four vehicles in the town of Kifl Haris, north of Salfit, during a predawn attack on Friday, according to local sources.
Munir Abu Yacoub, head of the village council, said settlers targeted a home in the town and smashed the windows of four vehicles, causing material damage. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Local residents described the attack as part of a broader pattern of repeated assaults on Palestinian property in the occupied West Bank.
Incidents of settler violence against Palestinians and their property are frequently reported across the West Bank, including attacks involving property damage, arson, stone-throwing, and the uprooting of olive trees. Human rights groups and local officials say such incidents are rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
In addition to vandalism, Palestinians have reported recurring attacks on homes, agricultural land, and places of worship in various parts of the territory.
Approximately one million Israeli settlers are living in settlements across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are widely considered illegal under international law, according to the United Nations and most international legal frameworks.
The situation continues to fuel tensions in the region amid ongoing violence and unresolved political disputes over territory and sovereignty. (ILKHA)
