HÜDA PAR calls for dialogue and restraint between Pakistan and Afghanistan
HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party) has urged Pakistan and Afghanistan to avoid actions that could escalate tensions and sow enmity between the two neighboring nations, emphasizing dialogue as the only path to resolution.
The party warned that the growing conflict between Islamabad and Kabul plays directly into the hands of imperialist powers seeking to destabilize the region.
HÜDA PAR condemned the Pakistani army’s recent attacks on Afghan territory, which have resulted in significant civilian casualties, describing them as “extremely concerning actions” that severely undermine the fragile stability in the region.
The statement stressed that security concerns cannot be resolved through weapons and military operations. Instead, it called on both countries to prioritize peaceful dialogue and mutual respect.
“Steps that pit the two brotherly peoples of Pakistan and Afghanistan against each other and create grounds for enmity between them must be avoided,” the party said.
“This dangerous escalation will only benefit imperialist circles that do not want the region to recover, find peace, and achieve prosperity. Our geography, which has been exhausted for years by wars and occupations, needs construction and solidarity, not new conflicts. Prolonged tensions and attacks that serve imperialism’s strategy of destabilizing the region will cause irreparable damage to both countries,” HÜDA PAR further warned.
The party underlined that the solution to existing disputes and security concerns does not lie in military interventions, calling instead for all disagreements to be resolved through sincere negotiations at the negotiating table.
HÜDA PAR’s statement comes amid rising cross-border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, as both nations continue to trade accusations over security issues and militant activities. (ILKHA)
