Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov to attend Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to visit Türkiye on April 12 to take part in the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Thursday.
According to Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Lavrov will travel to Türkiye at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. During the high-level international gathering, Lavrov is expected to deliver an address and engage in a series of bilateral meetings with fellow foreign ministers.
Zakharova noted that Lavrov’s participation will focus on a wide range of pressing global issues. “He is expected to cover pivotal international matters, including developments in the Middle East, North Africa, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea region, as well as urgent topics in Russia’s relations with specific states,” she stated during a briefing.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which has become a significant platform for international dialogue, will bring together global leaders, diplomats, and experts to deliberate on key geopolitical challenges and opportunities for cooperation. (ILKHA)
