Stop the genocide: Frankfurt protesters denounce Israel, demand action

Thousands of demonstrators filled the streets of Frankfurt, demanding an immediate end to the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
The rally, which was organized by a coalition of Palestinian solidarity groups, echoed with calls for justice, dignity, and liberation for Palestine.
Marchers carried Palestinian flags and powerful banners denouncing the Zionist entity and its Western backers. Chants such as “Freedom for Palestine,” “Israel bombs, Germany finances,” “Stop the genocide,” “Long live the intifada,” and “We are all Palestinians” reverberated through the heart of the city. The crowd also raised signs declaring, “Palestine has the right to defend itself,” and “We want to return home after 77 years,” highlighting the centrality of the right of return and the historic Nakba in Palestinian memory.
Participants expressed outrage at Germany’s political complicity and financial support for the Israeli regime, calling out Berlin’s silence in the face of mass slaughter and collective punishment inflicted upon the Palestinian people.
Following the march, organizers delivered impassioned speeches and press statements, condemning the international community’s inaction and demanding that states fulfill their legal and moral obligations to prevent genocide.
“Genocide is not a political issue — it is a crime against humanity. The world must act now,” one speaker declared. “The Zionist occupation of Palestine has no legitimacy. It was built on blood, massacre, and ethnic cleansing. There can be no justice without decolonization.”
Protesters stressed that the Palestinian struggle is not one of terrorism, but of resistance against decades of brutal occupation, apartheid, and ethnic erasure. They emphasized that Palestinians have the natural and legal right to resist, and they vowed to continue mobilizing until the liberation of all Palestinian land “from the river to the sea.”
The Frankfurt demonstration adds to the growing global wave of mass mobilizations against Israeli aggression and for Palestinian freedom, as millions around the world rally under the banner of justice for Gaza. (ILKHA)
