Two Pakistan Army pilots killed in training aircraft crash in Quetta
Two Pakistan Army pilots were killed after a Mushshak training aircraft crashed during a routine flight in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.
According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the aircraft belonging to the Pakistan Army Aviation Corps crashed around midday due to a technical fault during a training mission.
The military identified the victims as instructor pilot Major Hussain Shahzad Humayun and trainee pilot Captain Abdul Samad.
The Pakistan Army has launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
The Mushshak aircraft is used for basic pilot training and helps trainee pilots develop fundamental flight skills under the supervision of experienced instructors.
The aircraft is widely used by Pakistan's armed forces for initial flight training due to its suitability for basic aviation exercises.(ILKHA)
