A report published by the Wall Street Journal has claimed that the United Arab Emirates carried out covert air operations targeting sites inside Iran during a recent period of regional conflict, allegedly with intelligence support linked to the Israeli regime.

According to the report, dozens of airstrikes were conducted on Iranian territory, with operations said to be based on intelligence sharing and coordination involving the United States and Israel.

The alleged strikes reportedly focused on critical infrastructure, particularly energy facilities and industrial assets inside Iran. Among the locations mentioned were the South Pars gas field and petrochemical installations in Asaluyeh.

The report further states that the military campaign was connected to wider regional tensions and that intelligence cooperation between the UAE and Israeli security structures reached an unprecedented level during the conflict period.

It was also claimed that the Israeli regime provided additional military support, including air defense systems and personnel deployment assistance to the UAE.

The Wall Street Journal report included an assertion that senior Israeli officials, including the prime minister and top security figures, may have visited the UAE during the escalation period. However, Emirati authorities have rejected these claims, denying that such a visit took place.

In addition, the report suggested that the UAE leadership sought to expand regional alignment against Iran by attempting to involve other Gulf countries, including Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but those efforts were reportedly declined amid concerns over further escalation.

Neither the UAE nor the Israeli regime has officially confirmed the allegations contained in the report.(ILKHA)
