Building and civil engineering costs see sharp annual increase in Türkiye
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced that the Construction Cost Index (CCI) increased by 0.87% month-on-month and 23.18% year-on-year in September 2025.
The material index rose 0.90% monthly and 19.32% annually, while the labor index climbed 0.82% from the previous month and 30.99% compared to the same month last year.
The building construction cost index advanced 0.96% month-on-month and 22.75% year-on-year. Materials increased 1.06% monthly and 18.82% annually, with labor costs up 0.80% over the month and 30.47% over the year.
The civil engineering construction cost index grew 0.57% from August and 24.60% from September 2024. The material index rose 0.43% monthly and 20.91% annually, while labor costs increased 0.87% month-on-month and 32.86% year-on-year.
