HÜDA PAR's Yapıcıoğlu congratulates Khalil al-Hayya on election as Hamas leader
HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu has congratulated Khalil al-Hayya on his election as the new head of Hamas's Political Bureau, offering prayers for his success and expressing confidence in the future of the Palestinian resistance.
In a statement on X, Yapıcıoğlu extended his congratulations to al-Hayya, who assumed the leadership of Hamas following the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar during Israel's military offensive in the Gaza Strip.
"I congratulate my brother Khalil al-Hayya on his election as the Head of the Political Bureau of the honorable resistance movement Hamas, which continues to resist with dignity against the genocide, massacres, and cowardly attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation regime and its supporters on Palestinian soil," Yapıcıoğlu said.
The HÜDA PAR leader noted that al-Hayya assumes his new role as a father who lost four sons in the Palestinian cause, describing his election as the continuation of the legacy of Hamas's martyred leaders.
Praying for al-Hayya's success, Yapıcıoğlu said he hoped God would grant him strength in leading what he described as the struggle for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the people of Gaza, and all occupied Palestinian lands.
"I pray to my Lord to grant success to Khalil al-Hayya, who has inherited the blessed legacy of the previous martyred leaders, in carrying out this noble responsibility on the path toward the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the freedom of the oppressed people of Gaza, and the complete liberation of Palestinian lands from the occupiers," he said.
Yapıcıoğlu also expressed confidence that the Palestinian resistance would continue despite the loss of its leaders, saying their sacrifices had only strengthened the movement.
"The torch of resistance, lit by the blood of our martyred leaders, will never be extinguished," he said. "I firmly believe that the Zionist regime will ultimately be defeated and that the courageous sons of the ummah and the resistance will achieve victory. It is only a matter of time."
Concluding his message, Yapıcıoğlu prayed for the liberation of Palestine and the unity of the Islamic world.
"I ask my Lord to let us witness those days as soon as possible. May Almighty Allah make this new period a means for the liberation and unity of our Palestinian brothers and sisters and the entire Islamic ummah, and may He continue to be the helper and supporter of all those resisting oppression," he said.
