Palestinian scholars honored for academic and cultural contributions at Istanbul Arabic book fair
Dr. Nawaf Takruri, head of the Council of Palestinian Scholars Abroad, has been presented with an honorary plaque during the 11th International Istanbul Arabic Book Fair in recognition of his contributions to scholarship and culture and his efforts to promote the Palestinian cause on international platforms.
The honorary plaque was presented by Mehdi Al Jumaili, President of the International Association of Arabic Book Publishers and the official responsible for the fair.
The recognition highlighted Tekruri’s work in the fields of knowledge and culture, as well as his efforts to raise awareness of the Palestinian cause through cultural and international platforms.
In a statement, the Palestinian Scholars Association said the honor reflected appreciation for Tekruri’s efforts to serve knowledge and culture and his continued work in support of the Palestinian cause.
The association expressed its gratitude for the recognition and appreciation, while voicing hope that further beneficial initiatives would be carried out in service of the Muslim community and the Palestinian cause.
The 11th International Istanbul Arabic Book Fair brings together publishers, scholars, writers and cultural figures, providing a platform for promoting Arabic literature, knowledge and cultural exchange. (ILKHA)
